It is hard to believe that fall is already here.  It is hard to think about Halloween and Thanksgiving with so many sunny days and baseball games left to enjoy!  But if you look on the bright side, the holidays inspire lots of great home cooked meals and treats.  Everything from spider shaped sugar cookies and pumpkin pie, to roasted turkey and gourmet pasta bakes. 
This year, the appliance industry has focused a lot on convenience in the kitchen.  Most manufacturers now have double oven ranges that give you the ability to make two recipes at the same time.  Dishwashers have improved water coverage for better results, and refrigerators have convenience trays and extra dispenser features.  Dormont Appliance has a wide variety of new products on display if you have a chance to stop in.  Summer hours of operation will stay in effect throughout the rest of the year to make it easier for people to stop in after work.  Dormont Appliance is open until 8pm Monday through Thursday. 
Fall will also bring a lot of consumer promotions.  Look out for special offers on Columbus Day and Veterans' Day.  Currently, Frigidaire and Electrolux are offering free gifts with select purchases.  Rebates need to be submitted, but it is a small inconvenience for 6 months worth of Finish dishwasher tabs, or a $300 cookware set!
